Vietravel Airlines is currently seeking to fill several pilot positions for their Airbus A320F fleet, including DPE (check pilot), LSC/FI (instructor), Captain, and First Officer roles.
The expected post-tax salary for the DPE role is 318 million VND per month, while the LSC/FI role offers a monthly salary of 288 million VND. These positions require 50 hours of training and 20 hours of regular flight time per month.
As for the Captain and First Officer positions, the monthly salaries are 202 million VND and 120 million VND, respectively. These roles also require a minimum of 70 flight hours per month.

It is worth noting that the advertised salaries for Captain and First Officer roles at Vietravel Airlines are currently lower than the average salaries offered by Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air.
According to Aviation A2Z, a specialized aviation website, the salary range for pilots at Vietnam Airlines and VietJet Air in 2025 varies.
Generally, Vietnam Airlines’ Captain salaries range from 10,000 to 18,000 USD per month (approximately 251 to 451 million VND), equivalent to 120,000 to 216,000 USD annually (3 to 5.4 billion VND). Salaries depend on seniority and experience, and Vietnam Airlines also provides non-monetary benefits and standard transit allowances, accommodation, and family air tickets.
At Vietjet, Captains can expect a monthly income of 8,000 to 12,000 USD (around 200 to 300 million VND), or 96,000 to 144,000 USD per year (2.4 to 3.6 billion VND), excluding various benefits.
In contrast, the DPE and LSC/FI positions at Vietravel Airlines, with salaries of 288 to 318 million VND per month, are relatively competitive and higher than the average Captain salaries at Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet.
