Vietnam Immersion Week Roadshow 2025: A Gateway to Innovation and Collaboration

On September 10th, nearly 200 distinguished guests, including business leaders, investors, and startup support organizations, gathered in Hanoi for the Vietnam Immersion Week Roadshow 2025. This landmark event showcased 30 exceptional startups from South Korea, spanning diverse sectors such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Educational Technology (EdTech), Financial Technology (Fintech), healthcare, gaming, media, and lifestyle.

Recognized as one of the largest delegations of Korean startups to visit Vietnam in recent years, the event aimed to foster partnerships, explore user behavior, and expand market presence. The exhibition featured solution demonstrations, pitching sessions, and over 200 one-on-one networking opportunities, culminating in promising collaboration agreements. Several startups expressed optimism about launching their products in Vietnam within the next 3–6 months.

Complementing the exhibition, industry experts from Vietnam and abroad shared insights on Vietnam’s thriving startup ecosystem, emerging tech trends, and market entry strategies. Notable participants included representatives from Intel, BambuUP, and VSV Capital.

Kim Young Rock, Director of Next Challenge—a co-organizer of the event—highlighted Vietnam’s dynamic entrepreneurial landscape: “With its young talent pool, rapid digital transformation, and robust government support, Vietnam is emerging not only as a hub for innovation but also as a strategic gateway to Southeast Asia and beyond.”

Ms. Nguyễn Hương Quỳnh – CEO of BambuUP

Ms. Nguyễn Hương Quỳnh, CEO of BambuUP, emphasized Vietnam’s “golden era” for innovation but cautioned international startups to conduct thorough market research and leverage local resources to mitigate risks. Vietnam currently boasts over 4,000 startups, solidifying its position as a vibrant innovation hub in Southeast Asia.

The event was jointly organized by South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Next Challenge Foundation, and Vietnamese partners including the National Innovation Center (NIC), BambuUP, and VTC Online.

Observers noted that the Vietnam Immersion Week Roadshow 2025 not only facilitated Korean startups’ entry into Vietnam but also strengthened bilateral innovation cooperation, marking a new chapter in the relationship between the two nations.
