As part of the Action Month, Xanh SM, under the Vingroup conglomerate, in collaboration with the Green Future Fund, has launched the “Go Green, Live Green” competition. Running from September 10 to October 10, 2025, on the Gen Green creative platform, this initiative is a playground for those passionate about content creation and sustainable living.
Participants simply need to register an account on the Gen Green website and produce a video sharing moments or habits that reduce emissions and protect the environment. Entries can showcase eco-friendly practices such as using public transport, electric taxis, cycling, or walking, as well as daily activities like reducing plastic use, reusing items, recycling, and planting trees. Each video is evaluated based on creativity, clarity of message, and its potential impact on the community.
Notably, Gen Green implements a view-based reward system. Specifically, each view on YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok translates to 1 Green Coin. The first video to reach 1,000 views earns 20,000 Green Coins, and cumulative views ranging from 10,000 to 3,000,000 can earn up to 3 million Green Coins.
Communications expert Vũ Hồng Hà notes that small initiatives, such as opting for low-emission transport or adopting greener daily habits, can significantly influence societal awareness when shared widely, encouraging collective action.
“The Go Green, Live Green competition is more than just entertainment; it’s a way to create positive social impact, helping participants understand the direct link between individual actions and environmental health,” adds Hồng Hà.

Every Green Kilometer Counts
Alongside the content creation contest, Xanh SM is hosting the “Reduce Emissions with Xanh SM” challenge. From September 1 to October 5, 2025, every kilometer traveled using Xanh SM services not only ensures safe travel but also automatically records and converts CO₂ emissions saved.
The more kilometers traveled, the greater the CO₂ reduction, allowing participants to see their environmental impact. The top 5 customers and top 5 drivers with the highest weekly emissions reductions are honored and receive cash rewards directly deposited into their Xanh SM app wallets. After 5 weeks, the most outstanding participants will receive a grand prize of 2 million VND each, recognizing their consistent efforts.
The competition creates an engaging environment where even small actions, like choosing electric vehicles, have measurable value. CO₂ reduction figures and weekly rankings help the community clearly see their contributions, fostering long-term green habits and spreading the message of sustainable living.
