On September 15th, V-Green Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company and Mobile World Joint Stock Company signed a strategic partnership agreement to develop charging and battery swapping infrastructure for VinFast electric vehicles. According to the agreement, from now until the end of 2026, the two parties will deploy over 1,000 electric car charging stations and more than 1,000 battery swapping stations for electric motorbikes across Mobile World and Dien May Xanh stores nationwide.

In 2025, the plan is to install 350 electric car charging stations and 1,360 battery swapping cabinets, with 360 cabinets located at the same sites as charging stations and 1,000 operating independently. In 2026, the two companies will add another 1,000 charging stations and 500 battery swapping cabinets. Mobile World will also handle the installation, maintenance, and servicing of V-Green’s charging stations and battery swapping cabinets.
This infrastructure network is expected to provide convenience for VinFast electric car and motorbike users, while enhancing the experience at Mobile World and Dien May Xanh stores. According to the plan, starting November 1, 2025, the battery swapping system at Mobile World stores will officially begin operations, aligning with VinFast’s battery-swapping electric motorbike business strategy.

V-Green specializes in developing charging infrastructure, offering products ranging from home charging (7.4 kW and 11 kW) to public AC and DC charging stations (20–250 kW), along with smart management software and LINK technology for optimized performance. The company is currently expanding into markets such as Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
V-Green currently owns over 150,000 electric vehicle charging ports nationwide and plans to invest in an additional 150,000 battery swapping cabinets over the next three years. If the plan is executed on schedule, Vietnam could become one of the countries with the highest density of charging stations globally, while leading the region in green transportation infrastructure.
