Quang Ninh Province, located just over 200km from Hanoi, is strategically positioned for significant commercial development. According to the provincial master plan approved by the Prime Minister, Quang Ninh aims to establish large-scale shopping centers, multi-functional commercial complexes, and regional-level hubs to cater to the shopping, entertainment, and leisure needs of both residents and tourists.

Among these initiatives, the Aeon Mall Ha Long project stands as a flagship investment in Quang Ninh’s commerce, services, and tourism sectors. Construction officially commenced in February 2025.

Situated in Bai Chay Ward, the project spans over 13 hectares. This includes 9.1 hectares allocated for the shopping center and 3.92 hectares for transportation infrastructure, with a total investment of over 5.2 trillion VND. It marks Aeon Mall’s fourth venture in Northern Vietnam, following successful projects in Hanoi and Hai Phong.
