This year, Vietnam has been prioritized by Apple as one of the first markets to receive the latest iPhone models. At precisely 8 AM on September 19th, major retailers across the country began selling the iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air.
The Gioi Di Dong made a bold move by hosting a grand launch event for the new iPhones on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street in Ho Chi Minh City. They even set up a stunning storefront on the street to showcase Apple products and deliver the iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air directly to customers during the event.

According to The Gioi Di Dong, within just 24 hours of opening pre-orders, they recorded nearly 100,000 orders for the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air.
On the first day of delivery in HCMC, the retailer will distribute 600 units to pre-ordered customers and an additional 300 iPhone 17 Pro Max in Cosmic Orange to those who placed midnight orders.
Nationwide, the retailer plans to deliver 14,500 iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air units to pre-ordered customers. Next week, another 15,000 units will be dispatched, followed by 20,000 more the week after, totaling 50,000 units in the first three weeks.

Simultaneously, CellphoneS began distributing the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air to over 20,000 pre-order customers across 150 stores nationwide, operating from 6 AM to midnight.
Among the pre-orders at CellphoneS, the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB in Cosmic Orange emerged as the most popular choice, with the majority of customers opting for this year’s trending color.

Meanwhile, Di Dong Viet recorded 27,000 registrations, with 65% opting for the iPhone Pro Max and 60% choosing the Cosmic Orange variant.
