The Department of Police Investigation of Corruption, Economic, and Smuggling Crimes (C03) under the Ministry of Public Security is investigating a case of Violation of Regulations on Banking Activities and Related Activities at the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank of Vietnam (Agribank) Branch 6 and several related entities.
During the investigation, C03 issued an arrest warrant and a wanted notice for Mr. Nguyễn Thế Bình (born in 1954 in Hưng Yên, residing at 11.8, Block B, 91 Nguyễn Hữu Cảnh Apartment, Thạnh Mỹ Tây Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

Mr. Nguyễn Thế Bình, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank, was charged with Violation of Regulations on Banking Activities and Related Activities under Article 206, Clause 4 of the Penal Code. He has been on the run this year.
C03 urges defendant Nguyễn Thế Bình to surrender to cooperate with the investigation, prosecution, and trial, and to benefit from the leniency policies of the law. If he fails to surrender by the end of the investigation period, he will be prosecuted and tried according to the law.
Anyone who locates defendant Nguyễn Thế Bình has the right to apprehend him and immediately deliver him to the nearest police station, prosecutor’s office, or local authority, and promptly notify the Department of Police Investigation of Corruption, Economic, and Smuggling Crimes, Ministry of Public Security, for coordination.
