In September 2025, several mid-size CUV models are benefiting from cash discount promotions by automakers, making them more affordable for consumers.
The Hyundai Tucson leads with the highest discount of up to 55 million VND. This reduces the Standard variant’s price to just 714 million VND. Last month, it was Hyundai’s best-selling model, with 618 units delivered.

Meanwhile, the Ford Territory has the smallest discount, with dealerships offering only 20 million VND off. This lowers the Trend variant to 742 million VND, the Titanium to 820 million VND, and the Titanium X to 876 million VND. It’s also the newest model, launched on August 15th.

The Mazda CX-5 is discounted by 40 million VND, making it the most affordable in its segment at just 709 million VND. Its competitive pricing has long made it the best-selling mid-size CUV, consistently outperforming rivals. In August 2025, it sold 1,025 units, ranking 8th overall in the market.

Notably, the Ford Territory, Hyundai Tucson, and Mazda CX-5 are all finalists in the Family Car of the Year (600 million – 1 billion VND) category at the 2025 Car Choice Awards.
As of 7 AM on September 20th, the Ford Territory leads in votes with 11,557, followed by the Mazda CX-5 with 10,504. The Hyundai Tucson trails in 5th place with 7,798 votes.
