For the second consecutive year, Vietbank has been honored at the Asian Technology Excellence Awards. In 2024, the bank also secured the Vietnam Technology Excellence Award 2024 in the Cybersecurity Banking category for its project “Revolutionizing Core Banking and Cybersecurity,” marking significant strides in upgrading core banking systems and enhancing comprehensive cybersecurity measures.
IMS – A “Make in Vietbank” Digital Transformation Platform
Amid the banking sector’s rapid digital transformation, Vietbank proactively invested in developing IMS to address internal challenges such as fragmented knowledge, disjointed communication channels, and inconsistent document storage.
Built on a microservices architecture, IMS leverages Kubernetes and Docker for deployment, seamlessly integrating with enterprise systems via API Gateway, Kafka, and advanced middleware platforms. The system also employs Large Language Models (LLMs) for natural language processing (NLP), document summarization, real-time translation, process automation, chatbot operations, and content personalization. Additionally, Vector Database (Vector DB) enables high-speed search of unstructured data, optimizing the utilization of internal knowledge repositories.
These cutting-edge technologies make IMS a proactive, intuitive, and adaptive platform, enabling Vietbank to reduce approval times, accelerate new employee integration, enhance management efficiency, and improve customer experience.
