VIX Securities Exits Major Shareholder Position in PC1

VIX Securities has divested 3 million shares of PC1, reducing its ownership stake to 4.95% and ceasing to be a major shareholder in the company.

Recently, VIX Securities Joint Stock Company (Stock Code: VIX, HoSE) reported the successful sale of 3 million PC1 shares of PC1 Group Joint Stock Company.

Following the transaction, VIX Securities reduced its PC1 shareholdings from 20.7 million to 17.7 million shares, decreasing its ownership stake from 5.79% to 4.95%, officially exiting its position as a major shareholder of PC1. The transaction date that altered the ownership ratio was September 18, 2025.

Based on the closing price of PC1 shares on September 18, 2025, at VND 26,300 per share, it is estimated that VIX Securities generated approximately VND 78.9 billion from this sale.

Conversely, Mr. Phan Ngoc Hieu, Vice Chairman of PC1’s Board of Directors, previously registered to purchase 8 million PC1 shares to increase his ownership stake. The transaction is expected to take place from August 22, 2025, to September 21, 2025, via order matching or agreement methods.

If successful, Mr. Hieu’s ownership will rise from 0% to 2.24%, officially making him a PC1 shareholder.

Regarding business performance, according to the audited consolidated financial report for the first half of 2025, PC1 achieved net revenue of nearly VND 4,795.3 billion, a 9.6% decrease compared to the same period in 2024. After-tax profit reached over VND 309.7 billion, down 2.9%.

For 2025, PC1 set a consolidated after-tax profit target of VND 836 billion. By the end of the first two quarters, PC1 has completed 37% of its planned after-tax profit.

As of June 30, 2025, PC1’s total assets increased by 6.3% from the beginning of the year to over VND 22,315 billion. Fixed assets accounted for 43.9% of total assets, totaling more than VND 9,805.3 billion, while inventory stood at over VND 2,248.1 billion.

On the liabilities side, total payables reached over VND 14,415.8 billion, an 8.6% increase from the start of the year. Short-term loans amounted to nearly VND 3,644.9 billion, representing 25.2% of total liabilities, while long-term loans and issued bonds totaled nearly VND 7,465.4 billion, accounting for 51.8% of total liabilities.
