Taiwan’s ETF Giant Shuffles Portfolio: Dumps 4 Stocks, Buys Millions of Shares in Banking & Securities

Fubon FTSE Vietnam ETF (Fubon ETF) is undergoing portfolio rebalancing during the initial two trading sessions of the week, September 22-23, as part of its Q3 2025 review process.

During this period, the Taiwanese fund giant added four new stocks to its portfolio: TPB with over 12 million shares, BID with 4.4 million shares, HVN with 2.8 million shares, and BSR with over 3.7 million shares.

Conversely, Fubon ETF completely sold off and removed four stocks from its portfolio: PDR with 36 million shares, KDC with 931 thousand shares, VPI with 903 thousand shares, and DCM with 982 thousand shares.

Additionally, the fund significantly increased its holdings in VIX, FRT, and HPG, while heavily selling off Vin group stocks, including VIC and VHM.

As of September 23, 2025, Fubon ETF’s portfolio comprises 31 stocks, valued at approximately VND 13,300 billion. The top 5 holdings by weight are VIC, HPG, VHM, MSN, and VIX, with respective weights of 10.99%, 9.69%, 9.5%, 6.84%, and 6.42%.
