In response to the escalating severity of Typhoon Ragasa (Typhoon No. 9), Vietnam Airlines has implemented a third round of flight schedule adjustments to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
Securing aircraft against the storm

Additionally, flights between Da Nang and Cat Bi will be rescheduled, with VN1670 departing at 5:00 PM and VN1671 at 6:55 PM.
During this period, numerous domestic and international flights may experience cascading delays due to the typhoon’s impact.
Delays and cancellations due to the storm
Vietnam Airlines Group advises passengers to fasten their seatbelts throughout the flight, especially during turbulent weather conditions. Proactively securing seatbelts, even when the seatbelt sign is off, is a crucial measure to minimize risks associated with air turbulence.
The airline expresses its sincere apologies for the disruptions caused by the unforeseen weather conditions and seeks the understanding of its passengers. Flight schedules may be subject to further adjustments based on real-time conditions. Updates will be communicated through various media channels and directly to passengers via their booking records.
Previously, on September 23rd and 24th, Vietnam Airlines had already adjusted its domestic and international flight schedules in anticipation of Typhoon Ragasa’s impact.
