On September 25, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province announced a plan to organize groundbreaking ceremonies for various projects in celebration of the 1st Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. These initiatives also mark the province’s progress toward the 14th National Party Congress.

Specifically, on September 27, Dong Nai Province will simultaneously launch eight projects. These include seven social housing projects: ChC1 and ChC2 in Phuoc Tan Ward; social housing in Tam Hiep Ward; social housing complexes on 2.1-hectare and 3.7-hectare plots in Phuoc An Commune; social housing on a 3.5-hectare plot in Trang Bom Commune; social housing on a 2.85-hectare plot in Ho Nai Ward; and a social housing project in Tan Trieu Ward.

The eighth project is the construction of the Lien Cang Road (Phase 1).

According to Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, Ho Van Ha, social housing development is a key target outlined in the draft resolution for the 1st Provincial Party Congress (2025-2030). It is also a priority in the province’s annual socio-economic development plan. This underscores the commitment to improving residents’ quality of life, aligning with the principle of “putting people at the center” of all development policies. The province aims to balance progress with fairness, social welfare, and sustainable growth.

The provincial leadership has directed project investors and contractors to expedite legal procedures, ensuring all conditions are met for the groundbreaking ceremonies. Technical and logistical preparations must be thorough to ensure the events are conducted efficiently, with dignity, and in a cost-effective manner.

The draft resolution for the 1st Provincial Party Congress sets a target of developing 66,700 social housing units by 2030.
