This September, VinFast made waves with the launch of its new electric motorcycle lineup featuring removable batteries: the Feliz, Feliz Lite, and Vero X. While official images of the Feliz and Feliz Lite have been released, the Vero X has only recently surfaced in real-world photos on social media.

The Vero X, an upgrade from the Vento Neo, retains a similar design but is positioned in the near-premium segment. It boasts full LED lighting, including a LED Projector headlamp for enhanced visibility.

VinFast offers the Vero X in four color options: pearl white, matte black, moss green, and olive green. The recently unveiled model features the pearl white finish.

Notable features include a Smart Key, a TFT color display, a convenient rear grab handle, stylish rear swingarm covers, and a front fender. The standard under-seat storage, without an additional battery, offers a 35-liter capacity, accommodating two helmets and other personal items.

Compared to the Feliz, which targets the general market, the Vero X offers more advanced technology and a trendier design, catering to young, tech-savvy consumers.

Performance-wise, the Vero X is equipped with a BLDC Inhub motor delivering a maximum power output of 2,250 W. It accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in 15 seconds and reaches a top speed of 70 km/h. The motorcycle features front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, telescopic front forks, and dual rear shock absorbers.

With two batteries installed, the Vero X offers a range of up to 262 km on a single charge. Using one battery, the range is 134 km. The additional battery, priced at 5 million VND, is easily removable for external charging.

Priced at 34.9 million VND, the Vero X is currently available at a discounted rate of 30.712 million VND, making it a competitive option against popular scooters like the Honda Vision and Yamaha Janus.

VinFast currently offers three electric motorcycle lines: integrated battery, removable battery, and battery-swapping models. These diverse configurations cater to a wide range of consumer needs.

The battery-swapping line, set to launch next month, includes the Evo Max, Feliz Max, Vero X Max, and Drift Max, priced at 20 million VND, 24.9 million VND, 33.9 million VND, and 39.9 million VND, respectively.

Battery swapping can be done at VinFast stations and authorized partners. The company plans to install 1,000 stations by October, with a goal of 50,000 by year-end and 150,000 within three years.
