The mid-year consolidated financial report of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank of Vietnam (Agribank) reveals that the bank’s collateralized assets surpassed VND 3.5 quadrillion as of June 30, 2025. Compared to the end of 2024, Agribank’s collateralized assets increased by nearly VND 343 trillion, a growth of 11%.
Among Agribank’s collateralized assets, real estate holds the largest share at nearly VND 3.2 quadrillion, accounting for 90% of total secured assets. Movable assets amount to over VND 200 trillion, securities exceed VND 70 trillion, and other secured assets total nearly VND 86 trillion.
With this scale, Agribank holds the largest volume of real estate collateral in the banking system and is the first bank to surpass VND 3 quadrillion in real estate collateral.

In terms of business performance, Agribank concluded the first half of the year with pre-tax profits of VND 13,232 billion, a slight decrease of 0.3% compared to the same period last year.
This result positions Agribank as the sixth most profitable bank, following Vietcombank, VietinBank, BIDV, MB, and Techcombank.
As of June 30, Agribank’s total assets reached nearly VND 2.4 quadrillion, a 6.9% increase from the beginning of the year, securing the third position in Vietnam’s banking system, behind BIDV and VietinBank.
Customer loans grew by 7.6%, reaching nearly VND 1.9 quadrillion. Meanwhile, non-performing loans decreased from VND 29,009 billion at the start of the year to VND 26,593 billion, reducing the non-performing loan ratio from 1.68% to 1.43%.
