CIC Group Chairman Plans to Offload 3 Million CKG Shares

Recently, CIC Group Joint Stock Company (CIC Group, Stock Code: CKG, HoSE) announced a disclosure regarding insider stock transactions.

Specifically, Mr. Tran Tho Thang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CIC Group, has registered to sell 3 million CKG shares to meet personal financial needs.

The transaction is expected to take place via order matching/agreement on the exchange from September 26, 2025, to October 24, 2025.

If successful, Mr. Thang’s ownership of CKG shares will decrease from approximately 12.7 million shares to nearly 9.7 million shares, reducing his stake from 7.85% to 5.99% in CIC Group.

Based on the CKG stock price of VND 13,850 per share as of the morning session on September 24, 2025, the Chairman of CIC Group is estimated to earn nearly VND 41.6 billion if the sale is completed.

Similarly, from September 4, 2025, to September 5, 2025, Mr. Tran Tho Cong, brother of Mr. Tran Tho Thang, also sold 66,000 CKG shares via order matching on the exchange.

Prior to the transaction, Mr. Cong owned 126,650 CKG shares, equivalent to a 0.08% stake in CIC Group. Post-transaction, his holdings decreased to 60,650 shares, or 0.04%.

Regarding business performance, CIC Group’s audited consolidated financial report for the first half of 2025 showed net revenue of over VND 294.5 billion, a 46% decline compared to the same period in 2024. After deductions, net profit reached nearly VND 33.7 billion, down 34%.

As of June 30, 2025, total assets increased by nearly 6% from the beginning of the year to VND 5,295.2 billion. Inventory accounted for VND 3,378.5 billion, or 64% of total assets, while cash and cash equivalents stood at VND 353 billion.

On the liabilities side, total payables were nearly VND 3,320 billion, a 6% decrease from the start of the year. Loans and financial leases totaled VND 1,900.3 billion, representing 57% of total liabilities.
