At the event held in June 2025 in Hanoi, TMT Motors announced plans to distribute four new electric vehicle models in the second half of 2025. Among these, the Nano S05 EV stands out as the most attention-grabbing model—a compact two-seater electric car designed for densely populated urban environments.
This vehicle is a collaboration between TMT Motors and the Chinese brand Wuling, targeting motorcycle users looking to transition to an affordable and compact electric car.
Positioned in the mini electric vehicle segment, the Nano S05 is expected to be Vietnam’s first two-seater compact electric car to hit the market.
According to the announced schedule, the Nano S05 EV is set to officially launch in the market in early Q4/2025.
In terms of dimensions, the Nano S05 measures 2,400mm in length, 1,380mm in width, and 1,580mm in height. These dimensions are significantly smaller than the Wuling Mini EV (2,920 x 1,493 x 1,621mm), another mini electric vehicle currently distributed by TMT Motors. This makes the Nano S05 the smallest car ever introduced in Vietnam to date.
The cabin of the Nano S05 EV features two seats, accommodating the driver and one passenger. The seats are ergonomically designed to ensure comfort for short-distance travel.

While the exact price has not been disclosed, Mr. Bùi Văn Hữu, Chairman of TMT Motors, shared that the Nano S05 EV will be priced “slightly higher than a premium scooter.”
For comparison, one of the most premium scooters currently available, the Honda SH 350i, is priced at approximately 151–152 million VND. Industry experts predict the Nano S05 EV could be priced around 150 million VND.

According to the manufacturer, the Nano S05 EV offers two battery options with different ranges: The standard version uses a small-capacity LFP battery, providing a range of approximately 120 km per charge; The premium version is equipped with a 41.9 kWh battery, extending the range to up to 150 km per charge.
This mini electric vehicle supports both fast charging at public stations and slow charging at home.
It uses the European standard CCS2 charging port, compatible with the 30,000 charging stations TMT is currently investing in nationwide. The battery is removable, offering greater flexibility for users.
While detailed motor specifications have not been released, TMT Motors confirms that the Nano S05 EV uses a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, optimized for urban commuting.
The vehicle’s chassis is reinforced for durability, with independent front suspension and a twist-beam rear suspension system ensuring stable performance even on uneven roads.
According to TMT Motors’ vision, the Nano S05 EV is particularly well-suited for urban commuters such as office workers, young families, students, and delivery service providers.
