At the June 2025 event in Hanoi, TMT Motors announced plans to distribute four new electric vehicle models in the second half of 2025. Among these, the Nano S05 EV stands out as the most attention-grabbing model—a compact two-seater electric car designed for densely populated urban environments.
This vehicle is a collaborative effort between TMT Motors and the Chinese brand Wuling, targeting motorcycle users looking to transition to an affordable and compact electric car.
Positioned in the mini electric vehicle segment, the Nano S05 is expected to be the first two-seater compact electric car launched in Vietnam. According to the announced schedule, the Nano S05 EV is set to debut in the market in early Q4 2025.
In terms of dimensions, the Nano S05 measures 2,400mm in length, 1,380mm in width, and 1,580mm in height. These dimensions are significantly smaller than the Wuling Mini EV (2,920 x 1,493 x 1,621mm), another mini electric vehicle distributed by TMT Motors, making it the smallest car ever introduced in Vietnam to date.
The Nano S05 EV’s cabin features two snug seats, ensuring comfort for short urban commutes.

While the exact price remains undisclosed, TMT Motors Chairman Bùi Văn Hữu hinted that the Nano S05 EV will be priced “slightly above a high-end scooter.” Comparatively, the Honda SH 350i, one of the most premium scooters available, is priced at approximately 151–152 million VND. Experts predict the Nano S05 EV could be priced around 150 million VND.

According to the manufacturer, the Nano S05 EV offers two battery options with different ranges: a standard version with a smaller LFP battery providing approximately 120 km per charge, and a premium version equipped with a 41.9 kWh battery, extending the range to 150 km per charge.
This mini electric vehicle supports both fast charging at public stations and slow charging at home. It features a European standard CCS2 charging port, compatible with the 30,000 charging stations TMT is currently deploying nationwide. The battery is removable, adding flexibility for users.
While detailed motor specifications have not been released, TMT Motors confirms the Nano S05 EV uses a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, optimized for urban driving. The reinforced chassis, independent front suspension, and rear torsion beam suspension ensure stable performance even on uneven roads.
TMT Motors positions the Nano S05 EV as an ideal choice for urban commuters such as office workers, young families, students, and delivery service providers, offering unmatched agility in city environments.
