As Vietnam strives to achieve its Net Zero target by 2050, green transportation has become an inevitable trend, embraced by many businesses as a cornerstone of their ESG strategies. Driven by a commitment to support the nation and foster sustainable development, PNJ has partnered with strategic allies to implement green solutions in practical operations.

Under the MOU, PNJ will collaborate with VinFast to encourage employees to transition their personal vehicles to electric cars through a series of initiatives. These include introductory events, test drives of VinFast electric vehicles, and exclusive purchasing incentives for both electric cars and motorcycles.

With GSM, PNJ will focus on green mobility and logistics solutions. The partnership prioritizes the use of GSM electric taxis for internal travel and business logistics. Additionally, PNJ will co-sponsor Green SM travel codes for employees and customers, promoting eco-friendly transportation habits. Both parties will also collaborate on campaigns to spread the message of sustainable living.

PNJ and V-Green are jointly developing a network of charging stations across PNJ’s retail stores, offices, and factories. Installation will comply with legal regulations and receive necessary approvals, ensuring convenience for employees and customers alike.

By integrating solutions for personal vehicles, logistics, and charging infrastructure, PNJ not only optimizes internal operations but also promotes green transportation across its ecosystem and the broader community.

At the event, a PNJ representative stated, “Our partnerships with VinFast, GSM, and V-Green are strategic steps in our green transportation transition and a tangible demonstration of PNJ’s ESG commitment: ‘Acting responsibly to celebrate human beauty and life sustainably.’ For PNJ, responsibility goes beyond compliance—it’s about taking action and relentlessly pursuing practical solutions to reduce emissions and build long-term value. We believe these green alliances will create a synergistic impact, accelerating sustainable transformation across businesses and society.”

The representative added that these initiatives align with PNJ’s 12 key ESG pillars and its greenhouse gas reduction pledge approved by the Board in 2025. PNJ aims to cut emission intensity by 15.8% by 2030 (vs. 2023), systematically measure Scope 3 emissions, and achieve Net Zero for Scopes 1 and 2 by 2050.

Representing Vingroup’s green ecosystem partners, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Duong, CEO of V-Green, shared, “V-Green, alongside VinFast and GSM, is thrilled to welcome PNJ—a respected industry leader—in our shared journey toward sustainability. We’re confident that through collective effort and community engagement, we can build a greener, more civilized transportation network, reducing emissions and creating a healthier environment for all.”

These commitments build upon PNJ’s 37-year legacy of balancing financial performance, customer satisfaction, employee growth, and community responsibility—a philosophy that drives long-term value creation for all stakeholders.

Previously, PNJ earned its third consecutive spot on the CSA 2025 rankings, excelling in Waste Reduction (E) and Outstanding CSR Initiatives (S). The company also won the “Sustainability Leadership” award at the 2025 Jewelry World Awards in Hong Kong, the only Vietnamese representative honored.
