The Only Lake in Central Hanoi with Two Major Projects Underway: Vinhomes’ Billion-Dollar Residences and Three Future High-Rise Hotels

Over the past five years, the land within Hanoi’s inner ring road has been nearly depleted. Most projects are now developed outside the third ring road or even further. However, around Giảng Võ Lake, there are three major projects: Vinhomes The Gallery Giảng Võ, the Giảng Võ Complex, and the Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake Hotel.

Vinhomes The Gallery Giảng Võ stands out as the most prominent project, being the last remaining land parcel within the city center permitted for real estate development. It is located on the former site of the Giảng Võ Exhibition Center, spanning approximately 6 hectares.

The project features two towers, 39 and 40 stories high. The first five floors serve as a commercial center, while the 6th floor and above house a 5-star hotel and Class A offices. The low-rise area includes 199 commercial townhouses. Additionally, there are four basement levels for parking, a year-round swimming pool, gym, spa, and a lakeside garden.

The project is divided into three commercial and service zones, inspired by the world’s most vibrant shopping districts. The starting price for each commercial townhouse is 78 billion VND.

Adjacent to Vinhomes, the Giảng Võ Complex at 15–17 Ngọc Khánh, developed by Pacific Thăng Long, has resumed construction after years of stagnation. With a total investment of 1.120 trillion VND and an area of over 1.2 hectares, the project integrates high-end hotels, Class A offices, and commercial services.

The project consists of a commercial and luxury hotel tower and an office tower. The hotel tower stands 19 stories tall with 2 basement levels, offering 350 rooms, while the office tower rises 21 stories with 2 basement levels.

Located on prime land, the project borders Ngọc Khánh Street, approximately 150 meters from Kim Mã, and overlooks Giảng Võ Lake. Upon completion, it will become an architectural landmark, transforming the Giảng Võ area into a dynamic hub in the capital.

Currently, the construction site is bustling with activity. Various equipment, including cranes, pile drivers, and excavators, are in operation, alongside a dedicated workforce.

Across the lake, the Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake Hotel has been operational since 2020. This distinctive building features an exterior and many interior details plated with 24k gold, setting it apart on Hanoi’s hotel landscape.

The 25-story hotel includes 3 basement levels, covering 2,230 m², with 342 rooms. The most luxurious rooms are the 170 m² Royal Penthouse and the 184 m² Presidential Suite, both featuring gold-plated interiors and 5-star international services.

On the 24th floor, the hotel boasts a 225 m² infinity pool, offering panoramic views of the city. To protect the gold-plated tiles at the pool’s bottom, guests are required to go barefoot or wear provided slippers. With its unique design, this project has not only impressed international media but also established Giảng Võ Lake as a premium destination in Hanoi.
