Gold prices have been declining and stabilizing over the past two days.
Similarly, 99.99% gold rings and jewelry were traded by major enterprises at around 128.3 – 131 million VND per tael for buying and selling, unchanged from the morning.
Currently, SJC gold bars are priced approximately 3.5 million VND per tael higher than plain gold rings.
In the informal market, some small shops traded plain gold rings at around 118.3 million VND per tael for buying and 119.3 million VND per tael for selling, stable compared to the previous day. Notably, small gold shops are trading plain gold rings at prices 11 million VND lower than major gold companies. At this rate, the price of plain gold rings in small shops is on par with the converted world price.

According to experts, 99.99% plain gold rings are primarily bought and sold locally, so prices are determined by individual shops alongside global market influences. This results in price variations among different gold brands.
In the international market, as of this afternoon Vietnam time, gold was trading at $3,740 per ounce, stable compared to the morning. From its peak, gold has lost approximately $45 per ounce (equivalent to about 1.4 million VND).
Currently, the converted world gold price based on Vietcombank’s exchange rate this afternoon is approximately 119.5 million VND per tael.
