On September 23, 2025, Tasco Joint Stock Company (Tasco, stock code: HUT) received notification that VII Holding JSC had acquired 302.5 million shares, equivalent to 28.32% of Tasco’s charter capital. As a result, VII Holding officially became Tasco’s largest institutional shareholder.

The transaction was executed in accordance with the resolution passed by Tasco’s 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

VII Holding is chaired by Mr. Vu Dinh Do, who also serves as the Chairman of Tasco’s Board of Directors and its legal representative.

Prior to the transaction, neither Mr. Vu Dinh Do nor VII Holding held any HUT shares.

Established in May 2024 with a charter capital of VND 1,000 billion, VII Holding is majority-owned by Mr. Vu Dinh Do (65%), with Mr. Vu Duc Tri (10%) and Mr. Pham Quoc Khanh (25%) as minority shareholders.

The transaction was conducted via a negotiated deal on the stock exchange over three days: September 15 (77.9 million shares), September 17 (106.1 million shares), and September 18, 2025 (35.5 million shares).

Based on HUT’s closing price of VND 20,100 per share on September 15, VII Holding is estimated to have invested over VND 6,000 billion for the 302 million shares.

In August 2025, Tasco successfully issued nearly 175.8 million shares to existing shareholders, increasing its charter capital to approximately VND 10,683 billion. Earlier, VETC, a Tasco subsidiary, secured a VND 500 billion investment from IFC through convertible bonds.

For the first half of 2025, HUT reported net revenue of VND 15,351 billion, a 31% year-on-year increase, and post-tax profit of VND 114 billion, up 25%.
