Tasco Auto has officially announced its partnership with Lotus, becoming the exclusive importer and distributor of this luxury sports car brand in Vietnam. This marks a significant expansion of Tasco Auto’s automotive portfolio, which already includes the mainstream Geely, premium Lynk & Co, luxury Volvo, and the upcoming high-end Zeekr brand.

Lotus Eletre: The all-electric sports SUV.
With Lotus entering the Vietnamese market, industry experts anticipate the arrival of two all-electric models: the Eletre and Emeya.
The Lotus Eletre, a luxury SUV, offers two electric motor options delivering 603 hp and 905 hp, respectively. Its range varies from 410 to 600 km on a single charge, depending on the variant. In Vietnam, it will compete with high-end electric SUVs like the Porsche Macan EV, Audi Q6 e-tron, BMW iX3, and Mercedes EQE SUV.

Lotus Emeya: The high-performance all-electric sedan.
The Lotus Emeya is a high-performance sedan with a coupe-inspired design. It also features two electric motor options, producing 603 hp and 905 hp, respectively. Its range spans from 435 to 610 km on a single charge, depending on the variant. Direct competitors in Vietnam include electric sedans such as the Audi e-tron GT, Porsche Taycan, BMW i4, and Mercedes EQE.
While Lotus’ entry into Vietnam may not immediately drive explosive sales, it is expected to lay a crucial foundation for Geely Group’s stronger presence in the country through its partnership with Tasco Auto.
