Police investigations revealed that since early June, Nguyen Thi Loan had conspired with two accomplices, Tran Quang Nam and Pham Hoai Bao, to produce counterfeit goods.

The suspects purchased substandard raw materials, equipment, and machinery, and ordered the printing of fake labels and packaging for grapefruit shampoo, a product exclusively trademarked by Catchy Natural Comestic Co., Ltd. (based in Ho Chi Minh City).

Using this scheme, the suspects produced 904 bottles of counterfeit shampoo in a short period, with a total value equivalent to 108 million VND if sold as genuine products.

The Economic Police Department of Hue City Police is continuing to gather evidence to prosecute the suspects to the fullest extent of the law.
