As of the closing session last night, early this morning on September 27th (Vietnam time), Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange rose by 92-107 USD/ton, equivalent to 2.3% – 2.61%, while Arabica prices on the New York exchange increased by 2.02%-2.43%.

For the November 2025 reference contract, Robusta prices climbed 107 USD/ton to 4,201 USD/ton, equivalent to 110,000 VND/kg. Arabica prices for the December 2025 contract rose 170 USD/ton to 8,352 USD/ton, equivalent to 218,700 VND/kg.

Compared to the end of last week, Robusta prices have increased by 66 USD/ton, or 1.6%, while Arabica prices have surged by 300 USD/ton, or 3.73%.

Today, domestic coffee prices are expected to rebound from 112,900 VND/kg, remaining higher than exchange prices.

One of the primary reasons for the sharp rise in coffee prices during the last session was the adverse weather conditions in Vietnam just before the harvest season, posing risks to yield and output.

As the world’s second-largest coffee exporter, Vietnam’s coffee production significantly impacts global supply, while demand continues to grow steadily.
