The Vietnam International Innovation Expo (VIIE 2025) will take place at the National Innovation Center (NIC), Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Hanoi. It kicks off with the Vietnam Innovation Day Celebration on October 1, 2025, followed by a series of specialized events in the subsequent days.
This national-scale event, with international elements, aims to connect government bodies, businesses, academic institutions, and the creative community both domestically and regionally.

VIIE 2025 offers a diverse program, including formal ceremonies, technology exhibitions, product showcases, a STEM Lab zone, the Vietnam Mobility Festival, specialized workshops, and policy forums.
During the opening day and beyond, several national initiatives will be announced, such as the Provincial Innovation Index (PII), AI-driven data projects, recognition of innovative citizens, and support programs for experts and startups. The exhibition area is designed to display technological products, facilitate investment connections, demonstrate real-world applications, and introduce R&D solutions.

Beyond the main area, the week’s highlight is a series of in-depth workshops. On October 2, 2025, key sessions include the National STEM Education Workshop, emphasizing STEM’s role in fostering innovation among youth. It will feature educational models, showcase STEM projects, and connect schools with businesses and international organizations. Organized by NIC and the STEM Education Promotion Alliance, it attracts teachers, students, school representatives, and international partners.
The same day hosts strategic forums focusing on cutting-edge technologies like semiconductors and AI, alongside international cooperation for workforce development in strategic sectors. The “Fostering Innovation and Developing Strategic Technology Industries” forum is expected to gather funding organizations, international tech companies, and regional experts. It aims to create a dialogue on policies, R&D infrastructure, and workforce strategies, leading to collaborative initiatives, action plans, and tangible ecosystem support commitments.
A notable event is the Digital Asset and Blockchain Market Workshop, which will update on the international legal landscape, clarify the Pilot Resolution for the Digital Asset Market, and discuss asset tokenization in the economy. It brings together regulators like the State Securities Commission, State Bank of Vietnam, and Ministry of Public Security, along with fintech experts, associations, and businesses, to discuss legal frameworks, risks, and opportunities for Vietnam’s digital asset ecosystem.

On October 3, technology demonstrations and product experiences continue, offering visitors a practical view of ongoing innovations. A highlight is the France-Vietnam Innovation Potential Forum, featuring Nobel Physics Laureate Serge Haroche (2012). The day concludes with the Better Choice Awards Gala, honoring solutions, products, and business models with positive community impact. This event not only awards but also connects and inspires innovation among the public.

With its diverse scale and participants, VIIE 2025 aims to be more than a technology exhibition—it’s a platform to drive policy, foster investment, and nurture the startup-innovation ecosystem. Whether you’re a policymaker, investor, tech entrepreneur, educator, or STEM enthusiast, this event promises learning opportunities, collaboration, and access to initiatives shaping Vietnam’s digital economy and innovation future.
