On the morning of September 27th, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province simultaneously launched groundbreaking ceremonies for 8 projects, including 7 social housing projects.
Specifically, in Phuoc An Commune, two projects are underway. The first is a social housing complex on a 3.7-hectare plot, featuring nearly 1,500 apartments to accommodate 6,000 residents. The total investment exceeds 1.2 trillion VND, with a consortium of Hanoi Construction Corporation (UPCoM: HAN), DNG Mechanical and Electrical Installation Corporation (DNG), Hanoi Construction Corporation No. 1 (UPCoM: HC1), and Mechanical Construction and Installation Corporation (MCS) as investors.
The second project is a social housing complex on a 2.1-hectare plot, offering approximately 1,800 apartments for around 2,800 residents. The total investment surpasses 1 trillion VND. The investors are a joint venture of DNG, HAN, and WEALTHCONS Construction Investment Corporation. Both projects are expected to be completed within 30 months.

Him Lam Joint Stock Company (HimLam) launched two projects: the CHC1 and CHC2 social housing complexes in Phuoc Tan Ward, spanning over 1.6 hectares. These complexes include two 12-story buildings, providing approximately 320 apartments. The total investment is 722 billion VND, and upon completion, they will house over 1,900 residents. Another project is the social housing complex in Ap 5, Tan Trieu Ward, covering 2.38 hectares with around 970 apartments. The total investment exceeds 1.3 trillion VND.
Additionally, Dong Nai Province initiated three other social housing projects: a 3.5-hectare project in Trang Bom Commune, offering 900–950 apartments with a total investment of over 733 billion VND; a project in Tam Hiep Ward covering nearly 6,406 square meters, with a total investment of nearly 649 billion VND and approximately 520 apartments; and a project on a 2.85-hectare plot in Ho Nai Ward, with a total investment of nearly 2.068 trillion VND, catering to around 4,000 residents.
In 2025, the Government assigned Dong Nai Province a target of completing over 4,200 social housing units. By the end of August 2025, the province had started construction on more than 4,300 units, putting it on track to meet the target. By 2030, the province aims to complete over 64,000 units.
