As of October 1, 2025, the Ministry of Public Security has relocated its headquarters from 30 Tran Binh Trong, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi, to 96 Nguyen Du, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi.

The Ministry of Public Security announced that the construction project of its new headquarters at 96 Nguyen Du, Hanoi, is a flagship initiative, embodying the modernization of the Ministry’s infrastructure in alignment with Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo. The project was meticulously planned and executed from its inception.

Commenced in December 2023, the facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring comprehensive support for the Ministry’s operations with ample room for future expansion.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the People’s Public Security Force, the project management team and contractors launched a 200-day continuous construction campaign, significantly accelerating the project timeline.

Throughout the project, Ministry leaders conducted regular site inspections and weekly progress meetings to address challenges and ensure timely completion. Their proactive involvement, alongside the dedication of investors and contractors, was pivotal in achieving the project’s success.

After nearly 18 months of construction, under the rigorous guidance of the Party Committee of the Hanoi Public Security Department and the Ministry’s leadership, and with the support of various ministries, Hanoi authorities, and stakeholders, the project was completed. The new headquarters now stands as a modern, fully-equipped facility, poised to enhance the efficiency of the People’s Public Security Force.
