Hydropower Plant Operations Update:
EVN’s hydropower plants, including those under its power generation subsidiaries, have maintained structural integrity in areas affected by Typhoon No. 10. As of 4 PM on September 30th, 20 hydropower reservoirs are actively releasing water through spillway gates.
Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant: Peak inflow reached 6,985 m³/s at 9:30 AM on September 30th, decreasing to 5,550 m³/s by 1 PM. The plant currently has 8 deep discharge gates open to ensure safety.
Thac Ba Hydropower Plant: Peak inflow reached 4,110 m³/s at 10 PM on September 29th, decreasing to 2,820 m³/s by 1 PM on September 30th. The plant currently has 3 surface spillway gates open.

High-Voltage Grid Operations Update (500/220/110 kV):
Prolonged heavy rainfall and strong winds caused multiple disruptions across the 500/220/110 kV transmission network. Restoration efforts began immediately after wind speeds subsided.
By September 30th evening, crews restored: 8/15 faults on the 500kV grid, 18/18 faults on the 220kV grid, and 60/70 faults on the 110kV grid.

Power Restoration to Customers:
By September 30th evening, power was restored to 2.67 million customers (65% of affected population) across 16 provinces/cities impacted by Typhoon No. 10. Total affected customers: 4.12 million.
Over 2,400 personnel and specialized equipment from local and regional power companies were mobilized to expedite restoration efforts.

As Typhoon Bualoi rapidly approached, fishing vessels from Quang Ngai province raced to shore, forming a bustling queue at the port. Fishermen hurriedly sold their fresh catch directly at the harbor, eager to secure their livelihoods before the storm’s arrival.
