BusWorld Europe is the world’s largest trade fair for buses and coaches, where manufacturers and partners in public transportation unveil trends, solutions, and new models for urban and intercity markets.

VinFast plans to introduce its electric bus solutions, compliant with European standards, at BusWorld 2025, aiming for operational deployment by 2026.

VinFast EB 8 also featured at BusWorld 2025.

The VinFast EB 8 and EB 12 are designed for the European market, meeting stringent technical standards and certifications. The EB 12, a 12-meter model, is larger than the EB 10 (10 meters) currently operating in Vietnam under VinBus.

The EB 12 has garnered attention since its industrial design registration and sporadic appearances at VinFast’s facilities, though it has yet to be seen on public roads. Its display at BusWorld marks its official debut.

The VinFast EB 12 has not yet been publicly deployed on city streets.

Both models feature LFP batteries from international suppliers, with capacities up to 422 kWh, a real-world range of approximately 400 km, and fast-charging capabilities of up to 140 kW, enabling full charge in hours.

They are equipped with advanced safety features, ADAS, and passenger amenities including Wi-Fi, USB ports, entertainment systems, and a lowering suspension for easy boarding.

VinFast’s Global Expansion

VinFast is accelerating its global presence, expanding beyond personal electric vehicles into commercial and public transportation sectors.

The company is deepening its European footprint, introducing the VF 6 alongside the VF 8, and now entering the electric bus segment. In India, VinFast has inaugurated an assembly plant and launched two models, showcasing its commitment to international manufacturing and distribution.

Electric buses mark VinFast’s next venture in Europe.

VinFast’s global strategy includes establishing overseas production facilities and localized sales and after-sales services, as evidenced by its Indian operations. The EB 8 and EB 12 at BusWorld 2025 underscore VinFast’s product diversification and pursuit of European partnerships in transportation and infrastructure.
