Chinese automaker Chery has unveiled the Exeed Yaoguang C-DM Global Edition, available in three variants, starting at 139,900 yuan (approximately $19,600). The key upgrade lies in its powertrain, enabling a comprehensive range of up to 1,400 km, while the exterior design remains largely unchanged. True to its name, the Global Edition is slated for export to multiple international markets.
- 120 Long-Range 2WD: 139,900 yuan ($19,600)
- 210 Ultra-Long-Range 2WD: 169,900 yuan ($23,800)
- 200 Ultra-Long-Range 4WD: 189,900 yuan ($26,600)
The Yaoguang C-DM Global Edition retains its signature front LED light bar, paired with vertical side lights. The rear features a black-trimmed continuous light strip and dual exhausts.
Two new two-tone exterior color options are introduced. Dimensions remain unchanged at 4,781 x 1,920 x 1,671 mm (L x W x H), with a 2,815 mm wheelbase. Curb weight ranges from 1,913 to 2,171 kg.
The vehicle continues to use the 1.5TGDI engine, delivering 115 kW (154 hp) and 220 Nm of torque, paired with an extended hybrid system and a 3-speed DHT gearbox. A new addition is the optional front electric motor combined with the DHT.
Detailed specifications for each variant are as follows:
- – 120 Long-Range 2WD: Front electric motor 150 kW (201 hp)/310 Nm, 19.53 kWh LFP battery by Chery, 120 km pure electric range (CLTC).
- – 210 Ultra-Long-Range 2WD: Dual front electric motors 165 kW (221 hp)/390 Nm, 34.46 kWh CATL M3P LFP battery, 3-speed DHT, 210 km pure electric range (CLTC).
- – 200 Ultra-Long-Range 4WD: Dual front electric motors 165 kW/390 Nm and rear electric motor 175 kW (235 hp)/310 Nm, 34.46 kWh CATL M3P LFP battery, 200 km pure electric range (CLTC).
The cabin retains the 24.6-inch dual-screen layout, featuring a full LCD instrument cluster and center display, powered by Chery Lion 5.0 OS and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.
Controls below the screen remain unchanged. Amenities include an 8-speaker Sony sound system, 50W wireless charging, 256-color ambient lighting, and a foldable rear center console.
