Lam Dong Province is set to host the 2025 Investment Promotion Conference, inviting central government leaders and prominent domestic and international businesses to participate in this pivotal event.

On September 30th, the People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province held a press conference to announce the 2025 Investment Promotion Conference, themed “Lam Dong: Unleashing Potential, Elevating Status,” scheduled for October 11th and 12th.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, highlighted that following the merger, Lam Dong has become the largest province in Vietnam by area, boasting vast potential and strengths in aluminum processing, renewable energy, agriculture, and tourism. This event aims to showcase the province’s advantages and investment opportunities, attracting both domestic and international resources.

The conference is expected to draw 750 delegates, including government leaders, central ministries, foreign embassies, international organizations, provincial leaders, and representatives from investment, trade, and tourism associations nationwide.

Lam Dong Province aims to attract significant investment from businesses.

The province will invite 270 businesses to explore investment opportunities, including major corporations such as Vingroup, Sungroup, TH Group, Viettel, VNPT, and leading firms in energy, real estate, and logistics.

Provincial leaders aim to secure 132 major projects through the conference, focusing on key sectors like mineral processing, maritime economy, high-quality tourism, renewable energy, and high-tech agriculture. These projects have undergone rigorous screening and are nearing legal completion, ready for investor selection.

Lam Dong Honors Outstanding Entrepreneurs

During the upcoming conference, Lam Dong will grant investment approval decisions and certificates for 9 projects, covering 2,300 hectares with a total registered capital of over VND 33 trillion. Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will also be signed with 5-9 entities, primarily in digital transformation.

Additionally, the conference will honor 80 outstanding entrepreneurs in celebration of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13th).
