Recently, a user shared images of their customized VinFast electric scooter, sparking thousands of interactions and admiration for its unique modifications.
The showcased scooter is a VinFast Klara model, though its specific version remains unclear due to extensive modifications. The owner revealed in a comment that the total investment exceeded 200 million VND, significantly higher than the VinFast Klara Neo’s retail price of approximately 29 million VND.
The most striking modification is the lighting system. Replacing the original LED setup, the headlights now feature a smiling face design with LED “eyes” and a curved “smile” strip, all in blue.
Additionally, the turn signals have been redesigned into a stylized “X” shape, and wheel arch lights have been installed, maintaining the blue color theme.
Beyond lighting, the front brake system stands out. While standard VinFast Klara models feature a single disc brake, this custom version adds a second disc and a cooling vent, reminiscent of high-performance bikes.
The owner also installed Ohlins front forks with contrasting yellow accents, further enhancing the scooter’s bold aesthetic.
Other exterior modifications include side vents, a single seat, reverse-mounted mirrors, and a mini fire extinguisher, evoking racing bike aesthetics.
Commenters widely praised the scooter’s unique style. User Quân Phạm humorously remarked, “1 part scooter, 5 parts customization,” and jokingly requested parts if the owner ever upgrades again.
Given its rear disc brake, the base model is likely the Klara S2, not the Klara Neo with drum brakes. Designed by Italy’s Torino Design, the S2 features a 3,000W Inhub motor, 78 km/h top speed, and a 3.5 kWh battery offering 194 km range.
