Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Appoints New Chairman of Benthanh Group’s Board of Members

On September 30, 2025, during the Personnel Decision Awarding Ceremony hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Comrade Vũ Đình Quân—Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Director of Benthanh Group (official name: Ben Thanh Corporation - LLC)—officially received his appointment as Chairman of the Members’ Council of Ben Thanh Corporation.

The appointment ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee; Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. Several key officials also received transfer and appointment decisions during the event.

Mr. Vu Dinh Quan, born on November 27, 1976, in Da Nang, was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Members. With over 27 years of experience at Benthanh Group, he has honed his expertise in managing state-owned enterprises and joint-stock companies with state capital. His roles have included Director of Investment Development, Deputy General Director, General Director, and Chairman of the Board of Directors at BenThanh Tourist Service Joint Stock Company. Since August 2020, he has served as a Party Committee member, Standing Member of the Party Committee, and Deputy General Director of the Corporation. In June 2025, he was elected as the Secretary of the Party Committee of Benthanh Group – LLC.

Upon receiving the appointment, Mr. Vu Dinh Quan expressed, “Being appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Members of Benthanh Group by the Ho Chi Minh City leadership is a great honor but also a significant responsibility. In my new role, I will work closely with the Board of Members, the Executive Board, and all members of Benthanh Group to build on our achievements and continue driving the corporation to become a leading entity in the city, successfully fulfilling all assigned tasks.”
