The project spans nearly 9 kilometers with a total investment of over 1.85 trillion VND, connecting Ben Luc District (Tay Ninh Province) to the boundary of Ho Chi Minh City. The road will be expanded to accommodate 4 to 6 lanes.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Director of the Project Management Board for Construction Investment in Long An (Tay Ninh Province), the road has become overloaded and deteriorated after more than 20 years of operation. Upgrading it is essential to meet transportation demands, support industrial zone development, and enhance logistics services.
Mr. Hung added that upon completion, Provincial Road 830C will strengthen inter-regional connectivity, linking with key routes such as Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4 in Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway, and Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong – Can Tho Expressway. This will reduce logistics costs and attract further investment.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province, highlighted that alongside transportation infrastructure, the province is also celebrating a new milestone in commerce and services with the grand opening of Aeon Mall Tan An on October 4th. Covering over 21,800 square meters and funded with 1.076 trillion VND, it marks the first Aeon Mall in the Mekong Delta region.
