Located in Vincom Mega Mall Ocean City, Dream City Eco-Urban Area, Nghia Tru Ward, Hung Yen Province, the AEON Van Giang General Merchandise Center and Supermarket is AEON’s 11th integrated retail hub in Vietnam. Tailored for young families embarking on new life chapters—primarily parents in their late 20s to early 30s with one or two children—this destination redefines modern shopping.

Positioned as Hung Yen’s first “all-in-one destination,” AEON Van Giang caters to young families, tourists, and industrial zone workers. The ground floor houses the supermarket and AEON Delica food court, offering fresh produce, imported goods, and ready-to-eat meals. The second floor features fashion, footwear, accessories, homeware, and specialty stores.

Spanning 7,550 m² across Levels 1 and 2 of Vincom Mega Mall Ocean City, AEON Van Giang sets a new standard for retail excellence.

Strategically located, the center targets residents in Eastern Hanoi and nearby industrial zones, offering a trusted daily shopping experience.

At the launch, Mr. Tezuka Daisuke, Executive Officer and General Director of AEON Vietnam, reflected on the group’s Long Bien project. Initially questioned for its location in a then-undeveloped area, AEON Long Bien now ranks among the group’s top-performing global outlets.

“Our Binh Duong supermarket, successful after three years, underscores our confidence in Van Giang’s potential,” Mr. Daisuke added.

Diverse dining options elevate the culinary experience at AEON Van Giang.

AEON’s growth strategy includes 8 malls, 15 general merchandise centers/supermarkets, 45 mid-sized stores, 182 convenience stores, and 29 specialty outlets. Three new stores will open by year-end 2025, sustaining 30% annual growth. By 2026, expansions will focus on large-scale and regional outlets.

Viewing Vietnam as a strategic market alongside Japan, AEON will diversify formats across key regions: the Red River Delta, Central Vietnam, and the Mekong Delta. Operations are projected to triple by 2023.
