On the morning of October 2nd in Ho Chi Minh City, the IR Awards 2025 concluded with the announcement of the voting results, honoring listed companies with the best Investor Relations (IR) activities.
Alongside the official award categories, the program spotlighted two lucky investors who won the Special and First Prizes for their predictions closest to the results of the “Most Favored IR Company by Investors” category: Tăng Nguyá»…n Nháºt Minh and Huỳnh Phạm Anh Tú. Their stories go beyond mere luck, offering genuine insights into how individual investors approach the stock market.
When IR Becomes the First “Filter”
Both investors share a common emphasis on IR activities, viewing them as a “window” to evaluate companies. Minh, an office worker, combines multiple criteria when selecting stocks, from a company’s historical performance to its communication with investors. For him, IR is more than just a data disclosure channel; it reflects transparency, strategy, and market persuasion.
Meanwhile, Tú, a 35-year-old banker with over a decade of experience, trusts two core factors: a strong brand and transparent financial reporting. He regularly monitors quarterly reports on financial platforms and consults forums to cross-check information before making decisions. His first profitable investment in Military Bank (MBB) became a milestone, cementing his long-term focus on banking stocks.
Investing with a “Relaxed” Mindset and “Idle” Funds
While Minh favors multi-dimensional analysis, Tú maintains disciplined yet stress-free habits. Each morning, he enjoys coffee and discusses market insights with friends, then detaches from market fluctuations for the rest of the day. His investment philosophy is “buy and hold,” sticking to suitable prices without being swayed by short-term volatility.
“I see investing as a fun, relaxed activity. Without pressure, everything becomes easier,” Tú shares. Having a group of fellow investors also keeps him motivated and fosters regular information exchange.
Unexpected Joy and Renewed Motivation
Both investors admitted surprise upon receiving their award notifications. Minh, a three-year participant, never expected to win, while Tú initially thought it was a scam call. However, beyond material value, the awards serve as encouragement to stay committed to the market long-term. Tú views it as a memorable milestone, inspiring deeper company research, while Minh sees the recognition from a prestigious program as validation of his investment approach.

Vietstock Daily 03/10/2025: Sluggish Trading Sparks Investor Impatience?
The VN-Index tumbled towards the end of the session, slicing through the Bollinger Bands’ Middle line. This movement reflects a resurgence of bearish sentiment as buying momentum remains subdued. Meanwhile, the Stochastic Oscillator has reissued a sell signal, while the MACD continues to weaken. The August 2025 low (around 1,600-1,630 points) is expected to provide support for the index should selling pressure intensify further.
