The Environmental Police Department, in collaboration with the Investigative Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security, has uncovered severe accounting violations within the Hoang Huong ecosystem, comprising various companies and business households. The mastermind behind this network, Hoang Huong, once portrayed herself on social media as a successful businesswoman, flaunting her wealth and confidence.
Hoang Huong gained notoriety for her extensive list of violations, including misleading advertisements for dietary supplements, controversial statements targeting communities, and questionable business practices.
The ecosystem established by Hoang Huong consists of 18 companies, 25 business households, and 44 individuals registered as business owners, all involved in selling dietary supplements, health-protecting products, and other goods. Despite being the primary operator, Hoang Huong attempted to deflect responsibility for her actions.
To evade taxes, Huong instructed her employees to allocate revenue to business households and registered individuals. Preliminary investigations reveal that from January 2021 to June 2025, Hoang Huong omitted nearly VND 1.8 trillion in revenue from accounting records and misdeclared VND 2.1 trillion in value-added tax revenue.
As a result of these violations, the Investigative Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security has initiated legal proceedings, charging six individuals, including Hoang Thi Huong, her two brothers-in-law, and three employees, with “Violating Accounting Regulations, Causing Serious Consequences.” The police are continuing to investigate other potential offenses.
Born in 1987 in Phu Tho, Hoang Huong is known as an entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. On her social media profiles, she identifies herself as the owner of the Hoang Huong Confident Smile International Dental Clinic chain in Hanoi.
Hoang Huong has been embroiled in several controversies related to her business activities and social media statements. In 2020, she posted inaccurate information about the storm situation in Quang Binh, negatively impacting the local government’s reputation and disaster recovery efforts.
