According to Apple’s guidelines, a product is classified as vintage when it has been discontinued from distribution for 5 to 7 years. However, users can rest assured that Apple will continue to provide parts and repair services for up to two more years, depending on inventory availability.
The iPhone 11 Pro Max, introduced in 2019, quickly became an iconic model in Apple’s lineup thanks to its groundbreaking triple-camera system, which revolutionized mobile photography. This design has since been maintained in the latest iPhone Pro models, showcasing its enduring appeal and defining Apple’s premium product style.

Alongside the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the Apple Watch Series 3 has also been designated as “vintage.” Launched in 2017, it marked a significant milestone as the first Apple Watch to support cellular connectivity, enabling users to make calls and receive messages without their iPhone.
The Series 3 also featured an altimeter, a valuable addition for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, and runners. Although outdated compared to newer models, the Series 3 remains a memorable milestone in the evolution of Apple Watch.
