Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is currently implementing a 90-Day Campaign to Cleanse Land Data, aiming to establish an accurate, comprehensive, clean, and dynamic database. This initiative is designed to enhance government management and streamline administrative procedures.

Over 2 Million Land Records Lack Information Post-Merger: HCMC Calls for Collaboration
After one month of implementation, the city has consolidated data from three pre-merger localities, covering over 4.77 million land parcels. However, approximately 2 million land users and property owners still lack complete information in the system.
In response, the HCMC Police Department and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment are urging residents to proactively provide and verify their land and property information at local police stations, commune/ward People’s Committees, or Public Administrative Service Centers. Please bring your Land Use Rights Certificate/Property Ownership Certificate (Red Book, Pink Book) and Citizen Identity Card for data validation and standardization.
According to HCMC authorities, completing the database will reduce administrative burdens for citizens, safeguard their legal rights regarding land and property, and integrate digital utilities via the VNeID app and the Land Information miniApp.
Unlocking EV Potential: Tailored Deployment Strategies for Charging Stations in Ho Chi Minh City
The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has tasked the Director of the Department of Construction with reviewing and updating the city’s planning to prioritize the development of a green transportation infrastructure system. This includes the establishment of electric vehicle charging stations and the provision of clean, green fuel for vehicles. The focus is on leveraging publicly managed land for communal purposes, while minimizing the use of land owned by households and individuals.
Proposed Abolition of 30% Investment and Business Conditions in Driver Training
The Ministry of Construction is seeking public input on a draft decree amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree 160/2024/NĐ-CP regarding driver training and testing. The proposed changes include the elimination of various regulations related to personnel, facilities, and vehicles in driver training, aiming to reduce business conditions by 30% and streamline administrative barriers.
Streamlining Tax Procedures: Easing the Burden on Citizens
To support citizens and businesses, the Ministry of Finance has proposed a significant reduction of up to 44% in administrative procedures. Many tax procedures now fully leverage information technology, operating entirely automatically. Both businesses and individuals anticipate that this streamlining will lead to reduced time and costs.
