Over 2 Million Land Records Lack Information Post-Merger: HCMC Calls for Collaboration

After one month of implementation, the city has consolidated data from three pre-merger localities, covering over 4.77 million land parcels. However, approximately 2 million land users and property owners still lack complete information in the system.

In response, the HCMC Police Department and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment are urging residents to proactively provide and verify their land and property information at local police stations, commune/ward People’s Committees, or Public Administrative Service Centers. Please bring your Land Use Rights Certificate/Property Ownership Certificate (Red Book, Pink Book) and Citizen Identity Card for data validation and standardization.

According to HCMC authorities, completing the database will reduce administrative burdens for citizens, safeguard their legal rights regarding land and property, and integrate digital utilities via the VNeID app and the Land Information miniApp.
