Taseco Airs has announced its highest cash dividend payout since its listing in early 2018, reflecting a robust recovery in airport business operations. Previously, the company’s highest dividend was VND 2,000 per share, distributed in July 2018 and January 2019. Dividends were suspended from 2020 to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which severely impacted the aviation services industry.

Taseco Airs opened a new coffee shop this year at Tan Son Nhat Airport’s Terminal 3. The non-aviation service provider was selected to operate 19 business locations within the terminal, including retail stores, fast-food outlets, restaurants, lounges, and packaging stations.

This year’s positive outlook is driven by the return of Chinese tourists and a significant increase in international visitors. In the first six months of 2025, international arrivals to Vietnam rose by 21% year-on-year, with a 25% surge in July and August, surpassing pre-pandemic levels.

During the first half of the year, Taseco Airs reported consolidated net revenue of nearly VND 779 billion, up 20%, and a net profit of VND 117 billion, a 73% increase compared to the same period last year. These results mark the highest in the company’s history. On the stock market, AST shares have risen 37% year-to-date as of October 6, following years of sideways movement.

According to Taseco Airs, the strong performance is attributed to increased passenger traffic, expanded business locations, and the successful transformation of several retail models.

At the annual general meeting in April, shareholders approved a dividend payout ratio of 35-40% for the year, alongside a pre-tax profit target of approximately VND 300 billion.
