The Paradise Lagoon project is a standout feature of Vinhomes Green Paradise, a coastal tourism urban area in Can Gio. This mega-project, launched on April 19, 2025, is developed by Can Gio Tourism Urban Development JSC—a Vingroup subsidiary—with a total area of 2,870 hectares. The investment reaches a staggering $10 billion.
Beyond being a new icon within Vinhomes Green Paradise, Paradise Lagoon boasts a size far surpassing existing artificial lagoons like Crystal Lagoon (Vinhomes Ocean Park, Hanoi). Upon completion, this world’s largest artificial lagoon is poised to become a premier tourism and leisure destination, attracting millions of visitors annually.
Additionally, residents of the Can Gio coastal urban area can enjoy seaside views, swimming, and picnics without leaving the city. The lagoon is also expected to enhance property values, offering lake-view apartments and lakeside villas.

Vinhomes Green Paradise features 1,357 hectares of reclaimed land within its 2,870-hectare total area, making it Vietnam’s largest coastal development. Nestled between the 75,000-hectare Sac Forest—Vietnam’s first UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve—and pristine white-sand beaches, the project offers a unique natural setting. It’s also just 30 minutes from the international financial hub and Long Thanh Airport.
According to the 1/500 detailed plan approved in March 2025, the urban area is divided into five zones: A (953 ha), B (659 ha), C (318 ha), D (480 ha), and E (458 ha).
The centerpiece of Can Gio coastal urban area is the “Blue Waves Theatre”, a 7-hectare architectural marvel designed by Gensler.
Other highlights include the world’s largest artificial lagoon, Paradise Lagoon (443 ha), the 5-star Landmark Harbour marina for luxury superyachts, and high-end hotels. The project also features two 18-hole golf courses designed by legends Tiger Woods (West – Sunset) and Robert Trent Jones II (East – Sunrise).

As Vietnam’s first ESG++ coastal city—green, smart, and regenerative—the project meets stringent global sustainability standards. Key initiatives include a 20 km offshore wind farm, 100% electric vehicle usage, and AI, IoT, and Big Data integration for operations.
The urban area benefits from a high-speed metro line (up to 350 km/h), slated to begin construction this year, reducing travel time from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Gio to just 12 minutes. Additional infrastructure includes the Can Gio Bridge, Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway, and the expanded 6-8 lane Rung Sac Road, enhancing connectivity to Southeast and Southwest regions.
