AEON Tan An – The First Mid-Sized Shopping Center in Southern Vietnam
AEON Tan An, a project with an investment of over 1 trillion VND, is strategically located in the new administrative center of Tay Ninh Province, along Hung Vuong Street. This prime location directly connects to National Highway 1A and is just 1 km from the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway, ensuring seamless access from Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta region.
Leveraging its advantageous location and proximity to residential areas, AEON Tan An is poised to serve not only local residents but also attract customers from neighboring provinces such as Long An, Tien Giang, and Dong Thap. Within just over a week of its grand opening (starting September 23), the center welcomed more than 250,000 visitors, equivalent to over 8% of Tay Ninh Province’s population.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Tay Ninh People’s Committee, emphasized: “AEON Tan An Shopping Center holds significant importance, both in terms of its investment scale and its practical value to the community. It introduces a new lifestyle experience, harmonizing with nature and promoting eco-friendly living—a modern, civilized consumer trend eagerly anticipated by the people of Tay Ninh Province.”
As AEON’s first mid-sized shopping center in Vietnam, AEON Tan An spans a total floor area of 27,000 m². Designed with the concept of a “Daily Community Park,” the center integrates green spaces, natural light, and eco-friendly materials, aiming to become a premier shopping and entertainment destination for families in the region. The project features approximately 30 domestic and international brands, including AEON Tan An General Merchandise Store & Supermarket, fashion and sports outlets, bookstores, cafes, restaurants, entertainment zones, and a cinema, all under one roof, offering a convenient and exciting shopping experience.

Over 250,000 customers visited AEON Tan An during its first week of operation.
Beyond enhancing the local lifestyle, the shopping center has created nearly 1,000 new jobs, driving socio-economic development and promoting Tay Ninh’s unique products on a broader scale.
AEON’s Expansion Strategy – Aiming to Triple in Size by 2030
Since establishing its presence in Vietnam in 2014, AEON has grown to include 11 member companies, operating across diverse sectors with a commitment to elevating the quality of life for Vietnamese citizens.

Mr. Tezuka Daisuke, Executive Officer of AEON Group, Chief Representative of AEON Group in Vietnam, and CEO of AEON Vietnam, delivering remarks at the ceremony.
To accelerate its expansion, AEON is intensifying its strategy to diversify business models. Geographically, the group is focusing on launching new locations in the Red River Delta, Mekong Delta, and Central regions. In addition to self-invested shopping centers, AEON is collaborating with real estate partners as a key tenant. The openings of AEON Van Giang in Hung Yen (a key satellite city of Hanoi) and now AEON Tan An (the gateway to the Mekong Delta) exemplify this strategic approach.
