Grand Stadium, Thriving Population: A Glimpse into the Emerging Hub Rivaling My Dinh’s Scale and Can Gio’s Density

Vinhomes Green Paradise, located in Can Gio, Ho Chi Minh City, is Vietnam’s largest land reclamation project, spanning nearly 2,900 hectares (three times the size of the old District 1) with a total investment of $10 billion. The project is divided into four zones, each serving a unique purpose. Zone A is a tourism and entertainment hub, expected to attract 6 million visitors annually, while Zone B is a bustling urban center designed to accommodate 75,000 residents.

Zone B, the second-largest area in the project at 660 hectares, is set to become a vibrant commercial and entertainment hub. It will feature a night market, world-class 5-star hotels, a multi-purpose sports arena, and a leisure complex.

With a planned population of 75,000, Zone B is expected to match the pre-merger population of Can Gio District. Its density of over 11,000 people per square kilometer, more than 100 times the current average, will make it a dynamic hub for living, services, and commerce in the southern part of the city.

Additionally, the area will boast a shopping and entertainment complex modeled after Singapore’s Clarke Quay, offering a world-class leisure experience.

Furthermore, Zone B will house a state-of-the-art international hospital, with Cleveland Clinic, the top healthcare system in the U.S., providing consultancy, recruitment support, and staff training to ensure world-class medical services.

Just five months after groundbreaking, Zone B has made remarkable progress, extending hundreds of meters into the sea.

Hundreds of barges are continuously transporting construction materials.

Near the mainland, hundreds of trucks are constantly delivering gravel, pipes, and precast concrete components.

Several roads have already been paved with asphalt.

Drainage channels are being dug, and the site is enclosed with corrugated iron sheets. The atmosphere is bustling with activity.

With tens of billions of dollars in funding and rapid development, Zone B will join Zone A as one of the two key growth drivers in the initial phase, shaping Can Gio into a new urban and coastal tourism center.
