The People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province has recently signed a decision to auction the land use rights for a plot within the Chua Chan Mountain Eco-Tourism, Resort, and Entertainment Project (located in Xuan Loc Commune).

Auctioning 100 hectares in Chua Chan Mountain with a starting price of 2.678 trillion VND
Specifically, the land plot up for auction spans over 100 hectares. To the north, it borders the Chua Chan Mountain protective forest, connecting to the existing Chua Chan Mountain Tourist Area via hiking trails; to the west, it adjoins the planned road around Chua Chan Mountain and various routes linking to Provincial Road 763; to the east, it borders the Chua Chan Mountain protective forest, connecting to Provincial Road 766 through hiking trails; and to the southeast, it borders the existing road around Chua Chan Mountain.
The starting price for this land plot is over 2.678 trillion VND, approximately 2.9 million VND per square meter.
The Urban and Tourism Development Project at Chua Chan Mountain and Nui Le Lake has been updated with a total planned area of nearly 1,500 hectares. Phase 1 focuses on developing the Chua Chan Mountain peak area, covering approximately 107 hectares, and the Nui Le Lake Urban Area, spanning over 252 hectares. Phase 2 involves investing in projects surrounding Chua Chan Mountain, totaling nearly 1,100 hectares, including residential areas at the mountain’s foothills on the east, southeast, south, west, northwest, and north sides.
For the Chua Chan Mountain Eco-Tourism, Resort, and Entertainment Project in Xuan Loc Commune, the regional planning, general construction planning, land use planning, and other aspects have been completed, ensuring integration with the Chua Chan Mountain Development Plan. These efforts have significantly enhanced transportation infrastructure and fostered local economic and social development.
In early 2025, the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee approved adjustments to the comprehensive conservation, restoration, and enhancement plan for the Chua Chan Mountain scenic landmark until 2030. The planning adjustment covers an area of over 1,700 hectares, all within Xuan Loc Commune. The Chua Chan Mountain Eco-Tourism and Resort Project group has a total investment of approximately 18 trillion VND.
Chua Chan Mountain (Gia Lao), standing at 837 meters, is the second-highest peak in Southern Vietnam, surpassed only by Ba Den Mountain in Tay Ninh. It was recognized as a national scenic landmark by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in 2012.
