SYM Vietnam has announced on its official Facebook page the launch of a brand-new scooter model on October 13th. While the official name remains undisclosed, teaser images strongly suggest it’s the SYM Symphony 2026, a scooter making waves across Europe. This speculation is well-founded, as SYM completed industrial design patent registration for the model in Vietnam earlier this year, paving the way for its official distribution.
The SYM Symphony is a household name in Europe, particularly in Italy, where it consistently ranks among the top-selling scooters, rivaling giants like Vespa and Piaggio. The 2026 edition, unveiled at EICMA 2024, boasts significant upgrades in design, engine performance, and features.

Internationally, the Symphony 2026 offers three engine options: 50cc, 125cc, and 200cc. Experts predict the Vietnamese launch will feature either the 125cc or 200cc variant, ideal for urban commuting.
Measuring 1,980 x 685 x 1,214 mm and weighing 123 kg (wet), the Symphony 2026 retains the elegant and refined design that defines the series, rivaling the premium aesthetics of Honda’s SH scooter line.
All variants feature front and rear disc brakes (260mm front, 240mm rear). The 50cc model uses a basic braking system, while the 125cc incorporates CBS (Combined Braking System), and the flagship 200cc includes dual-channel ABS, enhancing safety comparable to the Honda SH. All models comply with Euro 5+ emission standards.

The Symphony 2026’s chassis has been enhanced with a 100mm telescopic front fork and a 75mm adjustable rear shock absorber, offering a smooth and customizable ride. Its overall design exudes European sophistication and modernity, appealing to young, style-conscious consumers.
With a 5.2L fuel tank, the scooter ensures long-distance travel without frequent refueling concerns.
Pricing details remain undisclosed, and the specific variant for Vietnam is yet to be confirmed. However, SYM’s reputation for affordability suggests the new Symphony will offer competitive pricing, making it an attractive option in the Vietnamese market.
