Vingroup Joint Stock Company (Stock Code: VIC) has recently submitted a document to the State Securities Commission (SSC), Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE), and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) announcing the establishment of a new subsidiary.
Specifically, on June 10th, the Board of Directors of Vingroup approved the capital contribution to establish VinMetal Joint Stock Company (VinMetal), located at Symphony Office Building (Chu Huy Man Street, Vinhomes Riverside Urban Area, Phuc Loi Ward, Hanoi).
VinMetal is expected to operate in the field of steel production and trading, with a chartered capital of 10,000 billion VND, 98% of which is contributed by Vingroup.
Recently, Vingroup has announced the establishment of several subsidiaries with capital in the trillions of VND.
In mid-September 2025, the Board of Directors of Vingroup passed a resolution approving the group’s participation in the establishment of a subsidiary named VinDynamics Humanoid Robot Research, Development, and Application Joint Stock Company (VinDynamics).
The expected chartered capital of VinDynamics is 500 billion VND, with Vingroup contributing 51%. The company’s headquarters will be located at Symphony Office Building, Chu Huy Man Street, Vinhomes Riverside Urban Area, Phuc Loi Ward, Hanoi.
VinDynamics’ primary business focus is on research, development, production, and technology transfer in the field of humanoid robotics.
Previously, Vingroup established two other robotics subsidiaries: VinRobotics Research, Development, and Application Joint Stock Company (VinRobotics) and VinMotion Multipurpose Robotics Research, Development, and Application Joint Stock Company (VinMotion).
VinRobotics has a chartered capital of 1,000 billion VND, with Vingroup holding 51% of the shares, and Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong contributing 39%. Mr. Vuong’s two children, Pham Nhat Quan Anh and Pham Nhat Minh Hoang, each hold 5% of the shares. Ms. Nguyen Mai Hoa serves as the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and the legal representative of VinRobotics. Ms. Hoa is also the representative of numerous other companies within the Vingroup ecosystem.
VinMotion was established in January 2025 with a chartered capital of 1,000 billion VND, and the shareholding ratio is similar to that of VinRobotics.
