MB Wins Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2025 for Pioneering Technology Solutions

On October 8th, at the Military Radio and Television Center in Hanoi, the Vietnam Digital Communications Association, in collaboration with VietTimes Online Magazine, hosted the Vietnam Digital Awards (VDA) 2025 ceremony. The event was attended by leaders from various ministries, government agencies, and the technology business community.

During the ceremony, MB Bank was honored with three groundbreaking technological solutions: the AI-powered transaction protection application for MB’s mobile app (App Protection), a fully automated credit product process for micro-enterprises (SMEs), and a data-driven technology solution for automating credit limit renewals for micro-SMEs.

The AI-driven transaction protection solution on the MB app underscores the bank’s commitment to ensuring absolute security for its 35 million customers. Integrated seamlessly into the app, the AI system detects and prevents fraudulent activities, cyberattacks, and security threats in real-time, enhancing customer trust and experience in digital banking services.

The App Protection suite on MB Bank’s app acts as an advanced security layer, playing a crucial role in safeguarding customer personal information.

The two automation solutions for micro-enterprises mark a significant leap in the comprehensive digitization of credit processes. Automating steps from registration to approval and disbursement significantly reduces processing time, minimizes paperwork, and improves access to capital for small businesses. Notably, the automated credit limit renewal solution, based on transaction behavior analysis, allows customers to renew their credit limits swiftly without cumbersome procedures.

Launched annually since 2018 under the patronage of the Ministry of Information and Communications, now the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Digital Awards has become a prestigious platform recognizing pioneering efforts in digital transformation nationwide.

The 2025 edition, the eighth season, holds special significance as Vietnam accelerates the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW by the Politburo on advancing science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

Over six months, Vietnam Digital Awards 2025 engaged over 15,000 organizations and enterprises, receiving a record-breaking 400 nominations. Following a rigorous and impartial evaluation process, 52 outstanding entities and individuals in the national digital transformation journey were honored.
