Geely has officially unveiled the 2026 edition of its compact electric hatchback, the Geome Xingyuan, one of the brand’s best-selling models in China. The new version starts at 68,800 yuan (approximately $9,670), with a limited-time offer reducing the price to 65,800 yuan (around $9,260, or roughly 243 million VND).

Compared to the 2025 model, the 2026 Geome Xingyuan retains its overall design, featuring a friendly rounded aesthetic. It includes a closed grille, rounded headlights with L-shaped LED daytime running lights, semi-hidden door handles, and 16-inch wheels.

Geely introduces two new colors—purple and beige—expanding the palette to eight options. Additionally, the Star Limited Edition, inspired by the Smart #1 Brabus and limited to 1,000 units, features red accents on the roof and seatbelts.

Dimensions remain unchanged at 4,135 mm in length, 1,805 mm in width, 1,570 mm in height, and a 2,650 mm wheelbase. The rear cargo space offers 375 liters, complemented by a 70-liter front trunk. Folding the rear seats expands total capacity to approximately 1,320 liters.

The cabin features a user-friendly, symmetrical design with an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1 or 14.6-inch central touchscreen, depending on the trim. The Flyme Auto infotainment system supports dual-zone voice control, customizable wallpapers, smartphone integration via Flyme Link, and a 540° surround-view camera.

Standard features across all trims include six airbags, 50W wireless fast charging, and practical storage solutions such as a 20-liter center console and a 10-liter glove compartment.

The 2026 Geome Xingyuan offers two rear-wheel-drive powertrain options:

  • – 310 km range: 58 kW motor, 130 Nm torque, 30.12 kWh LFP battery.
  • – 410 km range: 85 kW motor, 150 Nm torque, 40.16 kWh LFP battery.

Both configurations use CATL-supplied batteries with liquid cooling. Fast charging from 30% to 80% takes just 21 minutes, while a 10-minute charge adds approximately 120 km of range.

In China’s competitive compact EV market, the 2026 Geome Xingyuan will rival the BYD Seagull and Wuling Binguo Plus, both strong performers in the segment.

Since its launch, the Geome Xingyuan has sold over 400,000 units, cementing its position as a cornerstone of Geely’s electric vehicle expansion strategy in China.
