Vietnam’s Top 20 Richest Stock Market Tycoons: Phạm Nhật Vượng’s Wealth Surpasses Combined Fortune of Next 19 Individuals

As of October 10, 2025, the combined wealth of Vietnam’s top 20 richest individuals on the stock market reached VND 825.8 trillion, a remarkable surge of VND 485.6 trillion compared to the end of 2024. This represents an astounding 60% increase.

Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of Vingroup, retains his position as Vietnam’s wealthiest individual on the stock market, with a net worth of VND 431.1 trillion. His wealth has increased by VND 38.4 trillion since the beginning of the month and a staggering VND 340 trillion since the start of the year, marking a 373% growth. Mr. Vuong’s assets now surpass the combined wealth of the remaining 19 individuals on the list.

Together, the Vuong family—including Mr. Vuong, Pham Thu Huong, and Pham Thuy Hang—holds over VND 485.5 trillion, accounting for nearly 60% of the total wealth of the top 20. They are the only family with three members in the top 10.

The second most impressive gain was achieved by Nguyen Van Tuan, CEO of Gelex, whose wealth soared by 210% since the beginning of the year, reaching VND 12 trillion.

Do Anh Tuan secured the third most notable increase, with a 104% rise in wealth, bringing his total to VND 49.3 trillion.

Tran Dinh Long, Chairman of Hoa Phat Group, maintains his second position with assets valued at VND 58.6 trillion, an increase of VND 2.9 trillion from the start of the month. Compared to the end of 2024, his wealth has grown by VND 14.6 trillion, a 33% increase.

Other familiar names in the top 20 include Nguyen Dang Quang (Chairman of Masan Group), Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao (Chairman of Vietjet Air), Ho Hung Anh (Chairman of Techcombank), Truong Gia Binh (Chairman of FPT), Nguyen Duc Tai (Chairman of The Gioi Di Dong), Ngo Chi Dung (Chairman of VP Bank), and Bui Thanh Nhon (Chairman of Novaland).
